Workshop: Shibori Resist Dyeing Class - Sunday
Explore the worlds of shibori and indigo dyeing, Laura will teach the basics of three types of shibori: arashi (pole wrapped) nui (stitched resist), and itajime (shape resist). We’ll create pieces using all three methods, and then dip them in the indigo vat so that you have samples to take home. If you’d like, you can create a t-shirt with a combination of designs as well.

The same class is offered on both Saturday + Sunday.

Accessibility: SMQG wants everyone to be able to participate comfortably. PLEASE NOTE: this class is in person and outside at a private residence; and regrettably may not be suitable for all participants.
