Year of Doubles BOM: May 2022

Basket block
May is the month for flowers, and the basket quilt block is the perfect way to continue this tradition. Using this tutorial from Adventures of a DIY Mom, you can make a 3-, 6-, 9- and 12-inch block.
| I’ll be making the 12 inch block for our BOM. To get my toes wet I started playing with some floral fabrics to create a pillow for my son’s teacher. She loves orange and yellow and it turned out so bright and happy. |
Now that you’ve seen the traditional block, you can start playing with your fabric to create your second, re-interpreted block.
